Erin Considine

July 22nd / Ilyssa Satter

So much more than a jeweler, Brooklyn-based artist Erin Considine is a metalsmith, textile artist, and advocate of sustainability, all rolled into one. Not only are her pieces incredibly unique, Considine's ethical focus is unquestionable. All her work is hand made in her Brooklyn-based studio with only properly sourced materials. Cottons and silks are dyed in natural materials like turmeric and madder root, giving all of her pieces an warm, earthy quality. We love this necklace, reminiscent of the scarabs of ancient Egypt.
