Nuts and Bolts

Jan 27th

After two strong weeks of men's collections in Paris and Milan, and the much anticipated launch of MrPorter.com, it's clear that menswear is the next big thing. These 'nut and bolt" cuff links were originally designed in the 30's by Paul Flato for Verdura. Using ordinary objects, Flato elevated a mundane piece of hardware into an object of desire. Classically chic when worn with a serious stripe shirt or equally cool on the weekend with a wrinkled vintage find, this iconic design has been reproduced and is available at Bergdorf Goodman men's store. But beware, they're not for men only; they'd be just as fabulous on any woman's crisp white cuffs!
